There’s a lot I admire about coyote, but one thing I love is that he doesn’t act like he knows everything all the time for every creature or animal. Even though I’m sure he knew most everything, but I like that he’s engaging and asks in a student type way. Keep up the amazing work! I use a lot of your videos during this pandemic home schooling

I remember digging up sand crabs all the time as a little kid (well, when we could afford to visit California), and I dug up a strange worm in the sand, not sure if it was the same kind in this video however. Since all I ever knew were sand crabs, it was quite the scary surprise and wasn't sure what to do with it. Don't worry, I didn't hurt it, just put it on the sand and watched in awe.

They become vegetarians only when they are adults and feed on seaweed. When they are babies (as seen in this video) they are still carnivores because they mainly feed on zooplankton and crustaceans. The babies' mouths are too small to bite you, but once they grow up they have sharp teeth + have really strong jaws and can give you a painful bite. I believe they are also opportunistic feeders at adulthood because they will eat fish bait (squid, shrimp) if it drifts near them. And btw they taste yummy af

Prickleback what you said looked like an Eel or mudskipper, reminds me of a Snakehead fish because it can breathe air. And the way it's little flippers rested on your hand, also reminded me of a snakehead. I would assume they use those to travel across rocks and swim.

Monkeyface Pricklebacks can grow much bigger and also taste delicious. Bigger ones generally hang around deeper pockets of water around rocks and out in jetties. There's a method of fishing called poke poling where you stick a piece of bamboo with a hook on the end (with bait) into a crevice and it's pretty easy to catch them.

So little fact about the sea anemone, when you were touching it it wasn't that it is actually sticky. it has these stingers called nematocysts all over its tentacles, so when you touch it, it tries to sting you, but since the barbs from the nematocysts cant penetrate your skin, it causes that sticky feeling. They kind of get stuck in your skin, but don't go all the way through.
